Math isn't just numbers.Did you know that logic and notes are actually types of math? Bet you didn't see that coming.
Addition, subtraction, multiplication, the usual. But there are also variables, general concepts, number theories, and even journals are all types of math. |
Signs
Here, we see an equal sign, a multiplication sign, and a addition sign. To tell them apart, think of them like this:
Equal Sign: both lines are equal to each other
Addition Sign: the lines represent the numbers, cross them to add
Multiplication sign: cross the numbers again, but the weight of the numbers made it tip over
Equal Sign: both lines are equal to each other
Addition Sign: the lines represent the numbers, cross them to add
Multiplication sign: cross the numbers again, but the weight of the numbers made it tip over
Math symbols: Addition sign, subtraction sign, equal sign, multiplication sign, division sign, etc.
Multiplying
1 x 1=1, 2 x 2=4, 3 x 3=9, 4 x 4=16, 5 x 5=25, 6 x 6=36, 7 x 7=49, 8 x 8=64, 9 x 9=81, 10 x 10=100
